OH No! Amitabh Bachchan Tests COVID-19 Positive For The Second Time; Worried Fans Wish The Actor Speedy Recovery
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, on Tuesday night, took to his Twitter handle to inform fans that he has tested positive for Covid-19. The actor also urged those in his 'vicinity' and in close contact to get tested as well. To note, this is the second time when Big B had contracted the deadly virus. In 2020, he was hospitalized after he tested positive for Covid along with his son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He was admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital where he was in quarantine for a couple of weeks.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the 79-year-old actor tweeted, “I have just tested CoViD + positive  .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also ..” Soon after this, his ardent fans flooded the comments section of the post with his get well soon wishes. Fans and netizens wish the actor a speedy recovery. Earlier this year, Amitabh Bachchan, who is very active on social media, talked about dealing with some ‘domestic Covid situations’. Meanwhile, the Don actor has been shooting for his game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 14’, which premiered this month on August 7. In the wake of the actor's Covid 19 diagnosis, it is being assumed that the shoot of the show may get affected. Amitabh also has an array of films in his kitty. He is awaiting the release of Ayan Mukerji's ‘Brahmastra’ which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The fantasy- drama will hit the theatres on 9 September 2022.
